Music City Baroque offers culturally informed music programming, based on the performance practices of the Baroque period. As the music from this period intended, we aim to move people through music and to speak to the complex world of human senses and emotions.

We are committed to changing the traditional engagement with the music of this period by widening our scope with respect to composers, musicians, spaces, and repertoire, to engage with the full spectrum of human experiences. In exploring the music from the 17th and 18th centuries, we strive to make a valuable contribution to the arts and to the understanding of human expression throughout time.
